Light is essential not only for vision, but also for our physical
health, wellbeing and our sleep-wake rhythm – light controls a
large numberof processes in the human body – especially within
the range of blue light spectrum. There are some potential
hazards from blue light, andreported vision discomfort effects
resulting from increased use of digital device in the modern
world. synchrony HMC Blue is designed to provide some
protection from these adverse effects of blue light, while still
remaining an attractive all-day lens.
synchrony® HMC Blue offers protection from the harmful blue
light from LED lights, digital devices, TV screens and computers.
The front of the lens uses a specifically tuned anti-reflective
treatment to target and protect from blue light, while the back of
the lens uses HMC+ technology to reduce reflection and improve
overall clarity of the wearer
